He's been playing disc golf long enough to remember when half the molds in your bag didn't exist—and he's got the plastic to prove it.
First runs. Old runs. Special runs. Discontinued runs. That weird run from 2003 that was just a little flatter and therefore obviously flew completely differently.
He has them all.
Ask about any disc in his collection and you'll get its approximate year, plastic blend, flight characteristics, where he bought it, the tournament he first threw it at, and a fifteen-minute explanation of why they just don't make them like this anymore.
And yes, he bought another one.
No, he did not need it.

His bag weighs approximately the same as a small child, his garage contains storage bins his family has been instructed not to touch, and at least one disc in his collection is apparently “worth good money now.”
